Accommodation
We are pleased to offer a variety of one-and two-bedroom fully furnished apartments.
The apartments have been recently refurbished and include everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
The kitchens include everything you need to cater for yourselves, but do not include a washing machine or drying facilities.
We do, however, have a laundry on-site where you can have your clothes washed, dried, and, if necessary, ironed.
A number of the apartments have views of the harbor, and some have terraces large enough if you want to do a bit of sun-worshipping.
Local Area
Puerto de la Duquesa is situated on the Alboran Sea, which is where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa del Sol.
With easy access to the airports of Malaga, which is an hour away, and Gibraltar, which is a half-hour journey.
The local sandy beaches, which stretch for miles, offer numerous beach bars where you can while away a pleasant afternoon or evening, with the majority of them offering sunbeds for hire and waiter service.
Here you can enjoy the local specialty dishes cooked over natural charcoal in a fishing boat.
The port itself has boats for charter, whether you fancy some fishing or just a cruise along the coast.
For the more energetic, there is also a local hire shop that provides bikes, paddle boards, and kayaks.
They are also able to provide wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and anything else you may need for any infants in your party.
If you prefer a spot of history or sightseeing, there are many of the famous "white villages" within driving distance that you may visit to get a more authentic experience of bygone Spain.
Just a 10 minute walk away is the village of Castillo which has a castle that dates back to 1767 where you can climb the ramparts and see the views of Africa or all along the coast on a clear day.
